Each Facebook Business Page has so many Facebook tabs. However, what you chose to include and not include are critical for engaging with your audience. It also helps in building credibility with your audience. While it is great to have tabs, if the tab is not serving your business, remove it.
You can remove any of your Facebook tabs by selecting “settings” on the top right corner of your Facebook Business Page and selecting “Templates and tabs” on the left column of options.
How To Change Tabs
In this tab, you can click “Settings” and remove a tab and even drag the tabs to re-order them and yes order matters! I put the order of my tabs in how I would want a stranger (someone who doesn’t know anything about my business) to click them.
I have the “About” tab first since that is the general information about my business such as a company overview and contact information. It gives someone a quick snapshot of what my business is and what products/services I offer.
The next tab “Services” gives a catalog list of the products/services I offer. By looking at these two tabs alone someone can quickly understand my business and my value proposition. If a user is interested, then they can go on and learn other details. The next tab under “Services” I have is “Reviews”. Now that someone knows about my business and my offerings I want to show them what OTHERS have to say about me.
After someone has read my reviews I have other content that I have produced such as posts, photos, and videos. Again if you don’t have videos, events, etc. remove that tab. It is better to not include a tab then have it be blank. You want these tabs to build your credibility, not take it away.
